Both put NFL games on your phone with money on the line. They are built on different ideas: one is a pick em against fixed multipliers, the other is a live contest against the rest of the field. This page compares how each works, not what each pays.
How PrizePicks works
PrizePicks is a daily fantasy product in the pick em format. You are shown a projection for a player's stat in an upcoming game, passing yards, receptions, rushing attempts, and you pick whether the player will finish more or less than it. You combine two or more of those picks into one entry, and the entry pays a fixed multiple of your stake if the picks hit. Some entry types pay a reduced amount when one pick misses; the exact multipliers are set by PrizePicks and shown before you enter. Every pick is made before kickoff and the entry is settled when the games end.
How Speed Survivor works
Speed Survivor is a survivor pool compressed into one live game. Twelve yes-or-no questions arrive during the game, one about every five minutes of game clock, generated from what is happening on the field. You score for being right and score more for being fast, cuts remove the bottom of the field at set points, and the entrants left standing at the final whistle split a prize pool funded by the entries. There are no projections to beat and no multipliers: your result depends on how you place against everyone else in the contest.
