What playthrough is

Playthrough is the amount a player has to enter or wager before promotional credit is released, or before money tied to a promotion can be withdrawn. It is also called a rollover or a wagering requirement. A sportsbook offer might say a bonus must be wagered a certain number of times before it converts to cash; a contest platform might release credit in proportion to the entry fees a player spends. The requirement is what turns a headline number into its real value, because credit that is hard to release is worth less than it looks.

An example

A hypothetical sportsbook bonus of $100 carries a playthrough of five times the bonus. The player has to place $500 in wagers before the bonus, or what is left of it, can be withdrawn. Every wager counts toward the total whether it wins or loses. A player who places $200 in wagers and stops has not met it, and the bonus stays locked. Some offers count only wagers above certain odds, which slows the count further.

How Speed Survivor is different

Speed Survivor is a skill-based contest, not a sportsbook, and its promotions are built differently. Promotional credit here never converts into withdrawable cash. The first-deposit match is released into your balance at $1 for every $10 you spend in entry fees, so the match follows your entries as you play, and the released amount is contest credit: it enters contests, cannot be withdrawn, and expires at the end of the 2026 NFL regular season. Bonus bets and wagering multiples are not part of it.

The cash in a Speed Survivor account comes from what you deposit and what you win, and winnings from contests are cash that can be withdrawn.
